Cabana/Shed

This multi-purposed structure, located in Tiny Township, has room for storage as well as a change area for use by the beach.  It also features a cold water shower, which could easily be upgraded to include solar heated water.

Commercial Building Rehabilitation

This on-going project is located in York Region. Damage to some of the exterior walls, which was caused by vehicular impact, has triggered the need for rehabilitation. 

Through the design process, the owner/tenant has also chosen to incorporate a spacious retail area, functional office space and accessible services into the impacted area.

Deck Design

The deck displayed in the drawings and photographs is located in York Region.

The client’s desire was to have a deck that was accessible from the first floor and a protected area below that was accessible from the basement walkout.

A sloping structure below the decking, which is topped by a waterproof membrane, allows for passive drainage.  The area below the deck offers a pleasant, dry refuge when it is rainy.

Cottage Second Storey Addition

This ongoing project is located in Tiny Township.  

To support the load of the proposed second floor addition, the existing sub-structure required additional reinforcement.  The discovery of a high water table while excavating necessitated the introduction of new footings that were larger than normal.
